Portmeirion's Holly and Ivy pattern was designed by second-generation Portmeirion designer Anwyl Cooper-Willis in 1996 as a contemporary arrangement of antique illustrations with a flowing script of a lyric from the 17th Century English carol it's named after. The design and script are hand-painted on high-quality earthenware, and the dish is safe in the freezer, microwave, and dishwasher--making preparation, serving, and clean-up a breeze. It can also be placed in the oven and heated gradually up to 340 degrees F.
